About me

I  have lived in the London  area  for forty years  with my family and not yet been inside the Tower in case the officers behead me.I have been in Buckingham Palace Gardens  though and been on the river in a big boat with my sisters and mother and my husband.

I  like the arts both fine art and the digital sort.  I like to look at portraits either photos or paintings.I like to look at faces as I sip coffee on the pavement in town.Music perhaps affects me most.I like to look after my loved ones and iron their clothes while they are wearing them.[ joke]

I enjoy literature mainly novels but essays and criticism too.I found Hilary Mantel before the critics did.
I am interested in history and  the history of ideas and in different cultures too also in ethics and  politics. And humor…we certainly need it ever more.

Politics is taking my mind away from creating alas

Hi Katherine, you have a lovely blog and I really like your sense of humour. Thanks for visiting my blog and following. Much appreciated.

  3. Inspiration and motivation enough! Nothing more deserving of your proof to the contrary than to be told ‘it can’t be done’—by a “friend,” no less. 😉 So glad you’re here.
